the human race is divided, opinionated, and strong-headed, well, some may not admit, but the strong-headedness, comes to all somewhere along the way.
I have my own opinions. and i may not be an activist for what i strongly believe in. but just let me be controversial for once and say my piece.
PFLAG. Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays. How many of you have heard of that? How about Harvey milk? He was a gay activist who got shot, after standing up for what he believed in. Kudos for his efforts. So, right about now, you guys would probably think, shit, is zak turning into a lesbian? Hahas, im straight all right, im just trying to lay out whats there to see.
A person once said, police has laws, God has laws too. Every time the question of sexual orientation is brought up, the politically correct answer would be, being a straight, or a heterosexual. Which means, homosexuality, or transgender, was never part of the equation. As a muslim myself, homosexuality is not something condoned. If i consider myself, one of the very few, who accepts it, then inevitably, im probably one whose more or less, the less stricter muslim, or probably one who had gone astray. I do not condone homosexuality, but neither do i see the need of discriminating against it.
Lesbians and gays, they are like any other human beings, the only difference is their sexual preferences. I don't have an entire organization of gays and lesbian friends. But believe me, the pool of friends i have, is enough to make me want to learn more about them, as well as give my empathy, if not the most of it. I have the greatest, most caring friends out of these people. And i wouldn't want to change them. I have made previous attempts, of asking them to change. But realised that the more i tried, the more adamant they were. So henceforth, i've stopped trying to change them.
They have a way of seeing things, seeing life, in its finest details, and have great appreciation for so much more, than we, straight people can ever do. Not that we don't, its just that because its hard for their acceptance in society, they dont take things for granted (apart from fucking around that is). And being gay, they are really happy people. and i mean seriously HAPPY. I'm probably the only straight person, you'd see writing a whole long entry on gays. And you're probably going to find me weird. but, im not zak, if im not weird. HAHAS
Humans, we are not perfect, yet, everything of us deems perfection.
Alright, i've more or less said my piece. I feel that i've written in a different style for this post. Hahas, hope it doesnt scare any of you off. Im doing a little exploration, apart from helping people with heavy emotional baggage.
