im currently reading a book titled "On being a Muslim - finding a religious path in the world today - by Farid Esack". im only at page 44 of 202 pages, but it has been enlightening thus far..
"The responsibility to renewal though is essentially to one's self."
The idea isn't to be the perfect muslim, but to be a better one than you were before, a point in time. Dealing with religion has always been a path of questions, then answers, to which the answers gives rise to more questions.
Im at my computer, typing this entry, while multi-taskingly watching over my worn out father, finally falling asleep, after a hard day of being ill. this body is exhausted, this heart is feeling helpless, and this mind is restless. I guess my stomach pain now is brought on by all these overwhelming feelings. But im good, take care guys(:
